1. The easiest way – Create new tag on Guitar Rig browser upper window. Drag and drop external presets to the lower window by each created tag. It enables easy to manage presets and sounds.
2. You can also paste new files directly into a folder the presets are stored. Then go to the Guitar Rig software Options menu and click on “Import” button. By using Guitar Rig 6:
Does not allow “drag and drop” function anymore. For complete instruction: check from Native instruments manual, chapter 8.3.
By using Guitar Rig 7:
1. If you have Guitar Rig 6 as well, we recommend dragging the downloaded preset folders into the Guitar Rig 6 Rack Presets folder.
2. Now open Guitar Rig 7 – File/Preferences/ Library/ Import Guitar Rig 6 User Presets.
3. In this case, Guitar Rig 7 will label the imported presets with a “user” tag, and you can add or change tags to these presets.
